Not an actual TV ad this time, just a clever ad installation to advertise the Mini Cooper, post-Christmas.

You might have caught this star-studded Adidas Originals campaign on TV this year - a well planned campaign that started with invites going out with a teaser clip, followed by the party/ad itself and even ending up with a Simpsons parody (below). All run through their website, Facebook and Youtube page.

Great concept, great photography and great direction - by Nima Nourizadeh, through Partizan.

Nicely done ad for Spotify, which is currently running on TV in Sweden.

Nikon won a bronze lion award at the Cannes Advertising Festival for this red carpet simulation in a Seoul shopping mall, which fires off the flashes when someone walks past. Make sure your hand luggage is that flashy handbag we talked about.

You might have seen this lovely new ad for Samsung's new Jet mobile. I have no doubt that it's being pitched as an iPhone killer, but the ad's nice at least.

Nice ad up for Gucci perfume, directed by former bad boy Chris Cunningham. It's a pretty mainstream ad, but nicely retains some of Cunningham's signature strangeness. 

"Hi, I'm Dan Ackroyd..." Has the Ghostbuster gone off the rails? Is this ad for Crystal Head Vodka real? Looks like you can buy it

Creative Review has a run-down of some of the latest ads doing the rounds, including a flash-mob rip off of that Thriller thing, plus another Cadbury's ad.

This one for Protest caught my eye however. I can smell the snow.

Not sure if airlines were evr 'sexy', but Virgin claims to be putting sexy back into their brand, with this retro 80's ad. Funny to see Our Price Virgin Mega Zavvi Bunkruptcy recreated in the background.
