MTV2

finally caught jane's addiction at the mtv2 5th birthday thing... you can kind of tell they were the only band who've been around for ages as they're lacking in the The department:
the rapture
the thrills
the darkness
the music

the jane's were the definite highlight, relieved it's not an embarrassing comeback.
the rapture were ok, bit disappointing, not quite the future they're supposed to be... might have been suffering from "turn the early bands volume down" syndrome.
the thrills seem to have been ironically named.
same w the music.
the darkness do the jokerock thing well, crowd loved it, like the cult with a sense of humour.
