The Dark Knight Returns - As A Cartoon

After the entertaining but ultimately a bit "hang on what about ... " finale to Christopher Nolan's big screen trilogy, here's another Batman film that might be more satisfying (or totally frustrating) - an animated version of Frank Miller's Dark Knight Returns. Pt1 is out in October, Pt2 in 2013. There's a longer trailer here, or you could just read the 1986 comic. It's quite good.

Trailer Park: Killing Them Softly

Been looking forward to this one for ages - Killing Them Softly is the new movie from director Andrew Dominik (Chopper, Assasination of Jesse James), shot by Greig Fraser (Bright Star, Let Me In, Crossbow) and starring Brad Pitt (Dallas, Kalifornia).

Terrible title. The book it's based on is called Cogan's Trade.
